Fees for New Zealand residents
Our appointments are free for New Zealand residents aged under 22 years.
If we give you a prescription, you may have to pay $5 at a pharmacy for each medicine prescribed to you. There may be an additional charge for some medications. For more information about prescription charges, talk to your pharmacist.
For some services, like an IUD, you might need more than one appointment. You will need to pay for these appointments if you are aged 22 and over.
If you're not a New Zealand resident or citizen, please check whether you're eligible for subsidised health care. If you're not eligible or don't bring the required documents to your first appointment, you will have to pay non-resident fees.

- People with a cervix 30 years and over who are under-screened — haven’t had a test in the past five years
- Anyone requiring a follow up
- Māori and Pacific people with a cervix aged 25 to 69 years
- Anyone with a cervix aged 25 to 69 years who has their own Community Services Card
