International projects
We partner with local organisations to deliver projects that create change in the Pacific.
-
We work alongside local colleagues, and partner organisations to develop, and implement projects focused on addressing the sexual and reproductive health challenges in Pacific countries. Many of our projects in the Pacific receive funding from the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Our approach to international projects
Developing a project: We start with understanding what our partners want to achieve, and how we can help create this change. We rely on their knowledge, expertise, and insights to ensure projects best meet local needs. This looks different for each project.
During the project: Once the project has been co-designed, we work closely with our partner to ensure the activities and outcomes we have agreed are delivered. We provide guidance and support in addressing challenges they may face throughout the duration of the project. We may also send experts or clinical staff from New Zealand to the Pacific to support with training and upskilling, or host online learning opportunities.
End of the project: We conduct regular monitoring, and end-of-project evaluations to better understand how effective the projects have been. This can then be used to consider what future projects may be beneficial, or what areas of work or activities need specific focus.
