We understand that life can be busy. Things come up. And it can be easy to forget – or forget to cancel. The problem is, when you don’t turn up, that’s an appointment someone else could’ve used.
We want to find out how we can make it easier for you to come to your appointment – or to cancel it when you can’t. We’ve listed some of the top reasons people don’t come to their appointment, and some useful information if you find yourself in those situations. But maybe there are other reasons too? I can’t afford it
Did you know that if you’re a New Zealand resident and under 22 years old, your appointment with us is free? Or if you’re over 22 but have a Community Services Card, your appointment will be just $7.50? Find out more about our fees.
I forgot
You should receive a confirmation SMS or email, and a reminder 24 hours before your appointment. They might end up in spam, so make sure you check there next time. Let us know if you haven’t been getting them and we’ll check we have your phone number or email listed correctly.
I was busy
If you need to change or cancel your booking – no problem. If you booked online, you can also cancel or change your appointment online, or you can call us.
