Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa is a registered charity. Our registration number on the Charities Services register is CC11104.

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa is a member of the Council for International Development and is a signatory to the CID Code of Conduct. The Code requires members to meet high standards of corporate governance, public accountability and financial management. Complaints relating to alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct by any signatory agency can be made to the CID Code of Conduct Committee.

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa holds the EQuIP (Evaluation and Quality Improvement Programme) accreditation for day procedure centres. 

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa has been an accredited IPPF Member Association since 1955.

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa is an accredited training provider of cervical smear training courses.

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa is an accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) training provider for these courses: 

• Emergency Contraception
• Family Planning Certificate in Contraception and Sexual Health
• Contraception Overview and Practical Essentials
• NCTS LARC Training
• Sexually Transmissible Infections

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa has consultative status with UN ECOSOC.
