Course description
This online course is an update for NZ registered nurses who wish to renew their Nursing Council authorisation to provide the emergency contraceptive pill or who have previously completed an approved three-hour ECP course. If you do not already have NZ Nursing Council authorisation, you will need to complete an approved training course with at least three hours covering the ECP.
This course is made up of five modules, an assessment and an evaluation.
You will need to meet the pre-requisite eligibility criteria and complete all course components in order to receive a valid certificate.
This two-hour course is wholly self-directed and must be completed online within 30 days from date of enrolment.

Prerequisites
New Zealand Nursing Council authorisation to provide the emergency contraceptive pill and/or completed the approved three-hour Emergency Contraception Pill training course in the last five years.
